Vintage Monroe Shock Light Lamp | Very Rare Automotive Collectible /Advertising
This is a true survivor, removed from an automotive parts store in the mid-1980s, intended to use this in my office or man cave, but it's been boxed and stored since I bought it. Count it as a "better idea" prior to getting married! :)
Measures approx. 17" in diameter and 13" in height overall; shade itself is approx. 8'; interior white globe is approx. 8". Chain is approx. 63" long.
"MONROE" in wing logo on two sides; colors are bright, has original interior globe, chain to hang, and light works (designed to be hardwired, I added a plug-in simply to test it). This is some sort-of plastic composite piece and is very fragile. Two small defects (cracks) along bottom edge, please see photos. This was hanging above the parts counter and was covered with tobacco smoke residue, has been cleaned, but notice residue on top; this likely can be cleaned up some more if desired, we chose not to at this point; sort-of adds to the vintage look & has been stored long enough that it's odor-free!
