This 12oz General Mills “WHEATIES” cereal box was produced in 1995 to commemorate Baltimore Orioles great, CAL RIPKIN, JR’s 2131 Consecutive Games RECORD (breaking Lou Gehrig’s record)
This wonderful box is one of the rare ones released with RIPKIN wearing a plain black shirt and cap
It was printed before General Mills had the ok from the Baltimore Orioles & MLB to use their respective logos
Cal went on to finish with a record of 2632 consecutive games on September 19, 1998 (501 more games beyond this record breaking 2131 games!)
The box you are receiving was neatly opened and is free of tears, rips, stains AND odors
All colors on box are bright!
This EMPTY box comes from the original owner who has had item stored for many years
