Cabinet photo whose firm card mount measures approx. 5 in. by 8 in. (the image measures approx. 4 ½ in. by 7 3/8 in.)
Here's a quote from the New York Public Library’s website – “Henry Beecher Wesner was a photographer in San Bernardino, California… 1886-1896”
No indication on this card as to where the photograph was taken, but it looks to me like it’s some sort of college or maybe high school group… teachers… students…? ? ?
Condition
- corners and edges of the card worn; light wear on the image; “No.1” handwritten near top middle of the image; quite a bit of soil.
19th Century / Victorian era.
