    Description

    This rare 1910 "Blue Boar" paper label pry off tobacco tin, measuring 5 1/4" x 4 3/4" is in very good condition, with no rust, some small dents and some very minor age related paper scrapes.  The lid has lost some of its plating.  There is a large piece of tax stamp.  The tobacco was manufactured by the American Tobacco Company, Durham, NC  in Factory 1, District of VA.  This attractive, detailed brown tin with gold lettering features a bold, colorful image of a hunter spearing a blue boar.  The American Tobacco Company trademark Native American Chief is embossed on the lid.
