    Offered here is a small (1.75" by 5.75") photograph of Clarence Anthony Schlader dressed
    as Buster Brown. a comic character created by R. F. Outcault in 1902.  Clarence's transformation
    is complete including his bowl-cut hairdo, his large white collar with bow, and his belted tunic
    over leggings.
    This bookmark-sized photograph was taken by the Benjamin Studio of LaMoure, North Dakota.
