Description
Up for bid is a pair of 19th
C Spanish or former Spanish colonial silver tea forks, marked A PALMA. The forks are 6 inches long and together weigh 58 grams. The forks have squared shoulders and downturned fiddle handles with applied fancy shields. There are monogram traces on the handle fronts. The forks are marked [A.PALMA] in a rounded rectangle as shown.
Condition on the forks is fair. There are bends to the tines and handles, as well as a silver test cut mark on one handle back. The monograms have been mostly removed as well. Still an interesting old pair of forks!
