Description
This is an original (one-of-a-kind) sepia-toned antique photograph [4-1/2" x 3-3/4"]  ~ circa 1903 ~ this is the 12th and 44th New York Infantry Monument ("Ellsworth's Avengers") ~ this a memorial erected near the summit of Little Round Top to commemorate combat in the Battle of Little Round Top (it was dedicated in 1893) ~ Gettysburg, Pennsylvania ~ note that there is a smaller marker at far right but I won't hazard a guess to identify it ~ NOTE: the tourist surrey drawn by 2 white horses, and the roofs of multiple other vehicles at the base of the tower
~ In VERY GOOD condition, but verso side has still-adhered gray patches of photo album paper
