  • Condition: The sepia tone photograph is in Very good condition with no visible damage. It is covered by a beveled edged clear substance of some kind which is not glass; feels like celluloid or something like that. I have not seen anything like it. It appears to be held in by the metal anchors at each corner, one of which has part missing. The back needs a replacement hanger. Definitely vintage, but I do not know exact age.

    This unusually framed photo weighs 10   ounces before packing, so it can ship in a very well padded envelope at the 1st class 1 lb rate or Priority Mail flat rate envelope insured if you want. You choose shipping on the invoice.
    As stated in the “CONDITION “ , the covered photo has no visible damage. The nautical theme frame has one anchor holder broken (bottom left) . The clear covering over the photo is a substance I cannot accurately identify. It is not glass and feels like celluloid or some other early plastic type material. It does have a couple of very small “bubbles” in it , like old glass.All the flaws are shown in the close up photos. Please examine and enlarge the photos to assess the condition. It displays very nicely. The back will need a replacement hanger.
