    Description

    Offered is an original photograph of an attractive couple. In black and white / sepia, the photo measures 4¼ x 6½ inches. It is in good used condition with a crease running across the middle. We obtained the photo in an estate lot with quite a few others. From the different writings in the lot, we believe that the family name of the estate was Parson, they came from Illinois. Evelyn Parson was born Evelyn Louise Meyer, her mother was Elsie Louise Engver Meyer, born in 1892 in Illinois. I believe Elsie's mother was Louise Schumacher Engver, who was married to Emil Engver. On the back of the photo is written: "Louise Engver ... Emil Engver ... Taken in Germany" We could be wrong about the identities, but it all tracks.
