You are bidding on a lovely English 6 pence silver piece dated 1566 from the reign of Elizabeth I, 3rd issue, mm: Portcullis. (S2561) The coin has even light gray toning, and has light evidence of clipping, which was a problem with many of the early hammered coins. All of the images and inscriptions are clear. We have graded it as Very Fine. This lovely coin would make a great addition to any collection.
