Early Handtinted Photo Monterey Point Lobos by Carl Wilhem Jones

I researched the photographer some time ago.
His name is Carl Wilhem Jones.

Mission Photo Service (2/13/1896- 1/3/1994)
Carl came to Monterey in 1940 from Seattle. He opened Mission Photo Service in the Hotel San Carlos and was their from 1940 to till it closed in 1983 and removed to make way for a new hotel.
At age 92 he was not ready to quit working.
And in 1988 Carl and Mission photo joined California Views and Pat Hathaway at 763 Lighthouse Avenue, New Monterey.
Has small water stain in bottom left corner of the mat only. No issues with photo at all. The photo has come free from the mat on the right side.
Hand tinted and titled in pencil.
Frame is 21.5" wide by 19.5" tall.
Photo is approximately 13.5" wide by 10.5" tall.
In original frame.
Clean condition; photo is 4.5" lbs. without any packing material or box.
Oversizing box and the handling covers added insurance and signature confirmation.
