    Description

    1880s mammoth plate albumen photo on mount titled, "Branding No. 1." Scene shows Colorado cowboys branding cattle. Hundreds of other cattle are seen in the distance. Photographer is H. L. Aulls & O. R. Cannon out of Denver, Colorado. Label on reverse. Herbert L. Aulls was also co-owner of a Denver civil engineering firm and patented an improvement to lawn sprinklers in 1897.
