Description
Truly lovely antique lithograph of St. Paul's Cathedral in London originally printed by George Baxter. Depicted is a Victorian congregation in St Paul's in London, interior view of the nave, looking east through the crossing under the dome.This image was licensed to Bradshaw & Blacklock in 1855 who, according to the New Baxter Society, only printed using the Baxter process until 1856.
Frame measures 10-1/2" tall x 8-1/2" wide
Matte opening measures 6" tall x 4-1/4" wide.
Golden wood frame. Hand-drawn gold "French lines" accent the matte and show that this was a high-end frame job.
