AMERICAN CHARACTER SWEET SUE SOPHISTICATE/TONI DOLL

Description

Welcome to my auction for this lovely AMERICAN CHARACTER SWEET SUE SOPHISTICATE/TONI from 1957-58. This doll is very clean, not played with. She is 20" tall, made of vinyl with a rooted saran inset wig. She is wearing her original "High Society" short iridescent navy taffeta dress lined with nylon net, with a bell-shaped skirt, cap sleeves, and fitted bodice, along with it's matching hat and original black heels (in poor condition, see picture). Her ears are not pierced. Her hair is reddish. Her eyes are very blue. The pictures make her eyes look uneven/cock-eyed but they aren't) She also comes with white taffeta panties, bra, nylon hose, a mommy made brown & cream wool swing coat and black velvet slacks with a white blouse. All in great condition.
