It was struck at the San Francisco Mint from cupro-nickel.
The coin bears an "S" mint mark on the obverse.
Susan B. Anthony was one of the most important reformers in American history.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) graded this piece Proof 70.

Powerful Apollo 11 Mission Insignia Design by Frank Gasparro
Obverse: The obverse bears a right-side portrait of Susan B. Anthony by US Mint Chief Engraver Frank Gasparro. The national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," is inscribed to the right. Rim inscriptions read, "LIBERTY" and "1981." They are joined on the rim by thirteen stars.
Reverse: Gasparro's reverse design is based on the mission insignia of the Apollo 11 mission. An eagle lands on the moon with a laurel branch in its talons, and earth is off in the distance. The statutory motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is included above the bird, while the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and face value of the coin, "ONE DOLLAR," are inscribed at the top and bottom of the rim, respectively.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) certified that this coin is in perfect condition as seen under 5x magnification by awarding it their highest grade, Proof 70. They also credited the coin with exhibiting particularly sharp contrasts between heavily frosted devices and deeply mirrored fields by certifying it Ultra Cameo.

If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion.
