    1902 Antique Occupational Photograph on Board.  Depiction of African American worker with steam powered road machine.  Ink Identification on image reads; "The Patcher" Designed for The Toledo Asphalt Patcher Co. May 1902.  Lettering visible on machine reads; "EMPIRE ASPHALT CO. Plant No. 1".  Photograph is mounted onto paper board which is about 11-1/2" x 8-1/2".  Condition: light soiling, scuffs and edge wear.  mount board corner crease with area of mount loss in upper left corner.  Please see photos for additional condition review.  Questions welcome!
