    Description

Offered is an original photograph of a family from we are guessing around 1900.  It has a mother, a grandmother and two children reading a book, the picture just exudes quiet love and beauty.  And check out the haircut on the little girl!  The mat is marked "Martin ... 5616 Chicago Ave. ... Chicago." In black and white / sepia, the photo measures 4¾ x 7¾ inches, it is in a mat which measures 7 x 11 inches.  It is in good used condition.
We obtained the photo in an estate lot with quite a few others. From the different writings in the lot, we believe that the family name of the estate was Parson, they came from Illinois. Evelyn Parson was born Evelyn Louise Meyer, her mother was Elsie Louise Engver Meyer, born in 1892 in Illinois. I believe Elsie's mother was Louise Schumacher Engver, who was married to Emil Engver.  We could be wrong about the identities, but it all tracks.
PLEASE NOTE: The photo shown above is fuzzy or pixelated - it is an effect that we put on when we scanned the photo, to avoid unauthorized duplication. The photo you receive will be in focus when you receive it.
